On September 16 at 8pm PST I will be participating in the 24-hour Dungeons & Dragons marathon stream. Extra Life is a huge worldwide celebration of the social impact of gamers of all kinds from video games to board games and tabletop RPG’s! Last year, the D&D Team was able to raise over $100,000 through our live-stream Twitch event.
My 4-hour game will benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital this year. I will be joined by two game designers and two other cosplayers (including our Dungeon Master), so I anticipate a very creative and colorful session.
If you are a long time D&D fan or curious about what a D&D game is like, I recommend you tune in to the marathon (see full schedule). The game (and the event hosts) gets a bit wackier as the night goes on.
You are under no obligation to donate to my fundraising page. I know most of you are here for the sewing and the cosplay. But if you feel so inclined you can choose my costume and character traits. This is a chance to mix-and-match all my costume pieces and props.
