I have 38 draft blog posts. I have tried multiple times over the last year to make time to share my thoughts with you. To explain why I was painting and drawing instead of sewing.
Each time I started out profound and then got lost in the weeds of what I was trying to say. Too often I tried to bring it back to sewing or creativity because that is what this blog is based around.
I haven’t stopped sewing or creating. I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. I’m incredibly excited about the path I’m on.
I’m also at a loss for words a lot of the time. I miss this space as an outlet. I want to write more. I’m trying really hard not to self-edit this post into oblivion. I really don’t know what this blog will contain in 2019, but I do want to get back in the saddle of sharing what inspires me to create.
Happy 2019!

Hi we all get our inspiration from everything around us so I feel you’re just reacting to what’s out there in whatever way you can….don’t worry if it’s not fabric related …it’s still inspiring to us all ❤️
Happy 2019 to you, too. And warm wishes that you feel satisfied with whatever you do – you deserve it! Thank you also, for all the blogs over the last few years
I can’t speak for everyone, but I am always happy to read whatever you want to share, whether it’s painting, or sewing, or costuming!
All of the things are good if you are loving them. That’s my only thought here; these are tough times. I am excited you are excited.
On the sewing front, I am presently giving you credit/blaming you for my Haptic Lab purchase. I went for the Seattle Map. I will be stitching it for … a few years I assume. I am going to extend it at the bottom so I can get Skyway on there, and perhaps trace the entire ancient 26/42 bus route from Childhood Home To Present House. By the time I’m done, there’ll probably be Last House to mark.
